Debbie Hardiek (Owner)- Debbie is the daughter of Barbara Jansen, who founded the studio 56 years ago. She began dancing at the age of 3 at Jansen's Gym and Dance. Her background is in ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics and tumbling. Debbie has grown up around dance and tumbling and has 38 years of teaching experience. "I have a love of working with children and carrying on the extensive training I have received. Jansen's Gym and Power Tumbling provides a means for children to gain confidence, strength, coordination and overall life skills."
Judi Bone- Judi is the youngest of 4 children in the Jansen family. She competed in gymnastics competitively at the highest level. In 1984, Judi placed top in the nation in the uneven bars and floor routine. While in high school, she was the captain of the cheerleading squad at Effingham High School. Judi has over 34 years of teaching experience.
Whitney Steffen- Whitney began tumbling at the age of 3 and training in trampoline at 8. She competed at the Advanced and Elite levels in trampoline, double mini and power tumbling. Additionally, she was a member of the USTA National Team. Whitney attended Teutopolis High School where she was a member of the cheerleading team. She also serves as the cheerleading sponsor at Teutopolis Junior High School. She is a positive and energetic teacher who uses her experience to help the students reach their full potential.
Martyn Wirth- From a very young age Martyn discovered his love of gymnastics. He began competing competitively at the age of 6. When he was 15 he started teaching younger children the basics and fundamentals. As a competitive tumbler, Martyn has won several gold, silver and bronze medals at AAU Junior Olympics and UTSA Nationals. He has such a contagious and energetic personality that the kids absolutely love being taught by him.
